Polocrosse
looses the grandfather of the sport 23.11.08 |
Max Walters passed away this morning.
Max was very much the 'Grandfather' of Polocrosse,
and had been Chairman of the Australian Polocrosse
Association for many years, before Peter Crauford
took over. Max was also the first Chairman
of the IPC [International Polocrosse Association],
and held that position for many years.
He has been a great supporter of UK Polocrosse
over the years.
We personally, and the Polocrosse community
internationally, have lost a great and dear
friend.
